Tommy Tuberville is right that data centers can bring major investment and tax revenue to Alabama. But simply saying Alabama is going to build them isn’t enough. A better strategy would be to aggressively pursue data centers while directing incentives toward communities that desperately need economic development and putting safeguards in place to protect existing residents.
