Travellers across parts of South Africa are being urged to take extra care on the roads as disruptive snow, heavy rain, strong winds and rough seas are expected on Tuesday, 11 August, Cape {town} Etc reports. The warning also extends to areas south and east of the Free State along the Lesotho border and western parts of KwaZulu-Natal. The South African Weather Service is also warning of damaging winds and waves along the KwaZulu-Natal coast, which could affect small harbours, navigation and coastal activities. Pretoria is forecast to be cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers, with a minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 8°C. Further along the coast, Gqeberha is expected to experience cloudy conditions with isolated showers and rain before becoming partly cloudy.
