The Pittsburgh Steelers added a pair of wide receivers to their training-camp roster, announcing the signings of Cornell Powell and Isaiah Winstead on Monday. Powell later spent time with the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks organizations in addition to seven days on the Steelers’ practice squad last season. In 2025, Powell led the UFL in receiving touchdowns and helped the DC Defenders to the league title. Winstead has 67 catches for 1,044 yards and six receiving touchdowns over three UFL seasons, winning the league title with the Louisville Kings this spring. In the corresponding roster moves Monday, the Steelers waived receiver Colton Dowell and waived/injured Lorenzo Thompson.
