“Is it really news that when a federal agency hires more personnel that they need more space? The building — located about a block away from the FBI’s Pittsburgh field office on East Carson Street — has been the site of protests in the past. It’s housed in a large, glass office building located at 1000 Commerce Dr. in a Findlay Township business park near Pittsburgh International Airport. But Findlay Township Manager Thomas Garrett said the township had conducted an “internal investigation” and determined it was an ICE office. “ICE needs to be transparent and tell Western Pennsylvanians what they are up to in Findlay Township,” Deluzio’s statement said.
