ESUT Suspends Three Law Students Over Exam Malpractice

The management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has suspended three students of its Faculty of Law for two academic years over alleged examination malpractice.
The suspended students were identified as Isong Ugwu, registration number ESUT/2023030212973; Gad Nwosu, ESUT/2022030203441; and Roseline Nnamani, ESUT/2024030219772.
Ugwu said Vice-Chancellor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, acting on behalf of the University Senate, approved the recommendations of the Senate Examinations Malpractice Committee.
Meanwhile, the university exonerated another Faculty of Law student, Goodluck Iwuamadi, from an allegation of examination malpractice.
The university did not disclose details of the examination malpractice allegations against the three suspended students or the circumstances surrounding Iwuamadi’s exoneration.
