Before the organization officially released the 26-year-old offensive lineman, executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf was able to find a suitor. The Pats traded Wallace and a 2029 seventh-rounder to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2028 sixth, per ESPN NFL Nation reporter Mike Reiss. Caedan Wallace should have more leeway on a Dolphins squad that could realistically finish last in the AFC East. He will grab a hold of this second chance and try to hang on for the remainder of training camp.
