The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls between Saturday and early this (Monday) morning. Just before midnight on Saturday, firefighters were dispatched to a crash at West Tom Green Street and South Market Street. They provided blocking at the scene, returning to service once the vehicle was removed from the roadway. Another accident was called in shortly after 10:45 a.m. Sunday at West Mansfield Street and South Austin Street. Units found that two plugs were causing the smoke and turned the breaker off to a section of the home.
