Queensland government paints the state a familiar blue

The Queensland government has been accused of using taxpayer-funded marketing to promote the Liberal National Party, including by adopting the party’s campaign slogan and brand colour for itself.
Premier David Crisafulli announced last year the government’s previous maroon palette would be grandfathered in favour of blue.
Since then, the new colour has been slowly rolled out alongside one of the party’s post-election slogans, “Delivering for Queensland”.
These branding changes have been progressively seen in email signatures, official documents, and websites over the past year.
