BOGOTA, Colombia: At least 111 people have been killed after a powerful earthquake struck western Colombia, causing widespread damage and the collapse of several buildings.
According to news agencies, a 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit the region, with tremors also felt in neighbouring Ecuador, prompting residents to evacuate homes and buildings.
