As of August 4th, eligible students can use federal Pell Grant dollars toward the college's 14-week Emergency Medical Technician, or EMT, program. Iowa says Workforce Pell awards are prorated from the maximum Pell Grant, which is currently $7,395. Iowa requires Workforce Pell programs to have at least a 70% completion rate and a 70% job-placement rate.
