It has been almost a year since I decided to write up my story on how I came to be injured by transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Another characteristic of my TMS injury was that instead of improving in the months following TMS, I actually got worse. The next important step is tying this electrical shock injury to TMS injury. TMS treatment is considered “benign” because it is less invasive (and less dramatic), but it is not. With TMS, electrical current is still being generated inside the skull by means of electromagnetic induction, as well.
