If you're from Upstate New York you can see the names of some of our cities, towns, even counties and know exactly how to pronounce them without an issue. However when you're not from here it can prove to be a bit difficult to figure out exactly how to say these complicated names. Instagram user carlycore.xo posted a hilarious video of her husband attempting to say the names of several places around Upstate, Central, and Western New York. I would argue that Western new York has the hardest to pronounce names of all of our regions, but each place has their fair share of difficult to pronounce places. If someone from out of town could look at that and say it right the first time the NYS Lotto should just make them an automatic winner.
