The Interior Ministry is still checking how, despite a valid entry ban, Bulgarian MPs Krsto Vrachev and Angel Georgiev of the Revival party attended the trial in Kochani last week regarding the traffic accident involving 23-year-old Iva Mihajlova, a resident of Kochani, who holds citizenship of both North Macedonia and Bulgaria. Checks are underway to determine whether there was an oversight by the border police, the Ministry explains. “If potential oversights or unlawful conduct by official persons are established, the Interior Ministry will act in accordance with legal authorizations and take all appropriate measures and activities, including initiating appropriate proceedings”, it adds.
