Plaza Centres plc reported post-tax profits of just under €515,000 for the first half of the year, down a fifth compared to the same period in 2025, while declaring an interim net dividend of €250,000. The company operates the well-known Plaza Shopping and Commercial Centre in Sliema, leasing and managing its retail and office space. Plaza Centres held total assets of €37.9 million by the end of June, while shareholders’ equity increased slightly to €28.4 million. Plaza Centres said it had received approval from a local bank for refinancing and would refinance the bonds before redemption. Plaza Centres has also agreed to acquire a childcare property in Sliema, subject to conditions, as part of plans to diversify its property portfolio.
