The first waves of football season are lapping up on the sports shore. It won’t be long until football consumes us like a pigskin-colored tsunami. Once Labor Day weekend hits it’ll be all football, all the time, until at least New Year’s. From junior high to the NFL, you can watch some level of the game almost every day for four months. Warren Central, Vicksburg and St. Aloysius swimmers will splash down at City Pool on Aug. 22.
