Verneeda T. Moore (Davis Funeral Home)WILMINGTON — Verneeda Tomika Lampkins Booker Moore was born on November 16, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late O’Larry Lampkins and Mattie Lampkins. Verneeda began her education in the St. Louis Public School system, Herzog Elementary and Ames Magnet (grades 6-8). Verneeda returned to school and, from 2012 to 2014, attended Cape Fear Community College, where she earned a Hospitality Management Certificate. On September 26, 2018, she married the love of her life, William H. Moore. Verneeda was preceded in death by her parents, O’Larry Lampkins and Mattie Lampkins, and her brother, Alfonza Jenkins.
