Ronnie Lee “Ron” Hamilton (Peacock, Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service)OAK ISLAND — Dr. Ronnie Lee “Ron” Hamilton, 79 of Oak Island, North Carolina passed on August 1, 2026. Ron was born January 6, 1947, son of the late Alcon and Inez Hamilton. He had pastored Fellowship Wesleyan Church in Iva, South Carolina and Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church in Asheboro, North Carolina until his retirement. After his retirement, he pastored The Community Church of Brunswick in Southport, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine Brown Hamilton; two sisters, Ann Thompson and Lucy Hall; and two brothers, Vaughan Hamilton and Roger Hamilton.
