SOUTH POINT — Adjustments were made to the trash collection bid contract and it was put out for bid this week, South Point Mayor Jeff Gaskin said. The adjustments were made at the Aug. 4 meeting of village council. Gaskin said the village also hopes to bid out work to repair a dip in the roundabaout at the interchange of Solida Road and U.S. 52. He said the village hopes to do that in the next two weeks. The next meeting of village council is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
