Boca Raton Police are on the scene of a shooting Sunday afternoon. UPDATE #1 (3:30 p.m.): BocaNewsNow.com has learned that there was a report of a shooting near a Boca Raton Fire Station a short time before Boca Raton PD issued an alert about a shooting in the city via X — but not directly to local media. We have also learned that someone a short time ago had to be rushed from Boca Raton Regional Hospital to Delray Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the neck. We are awaiting clarification from Boca PD as to whether these are related or unrelated events.
