SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Officially known as the US50 South Lake Tahoe Safety Project, the multi-year Caltrans construction project in South Lake Tahoe is nearing completion. The project area is along US50 from US50/SR89 (the Y) to Pioneer Trail. Most likely, the beacon by South Tahoe Middle School will be the first one to be activated.
