Arkansas State Police put two innocent bystanders in the hospital this week when yet another of their “controlled crash” PIT maneuvers went sideways. No word on the condition of the those victims, beyond that their injuries are serious and they were transported to a Memphis hospital. In recent years, Arkansas State Police have taken to calling the crashes TVIs, or “tactical vehicle interventions.” In March 2025, the Arkansas State Police killed three people with PIT maneuvers and injured several more in the span of a single week.
