From mid-May to mid-September, or around Memorial Day to around Labor Day, calls peaked in 2021 at 12,951, then fell to 11,136 in 2022.
“West Tisbury seems to be busier,” Gregory Pachico, West Tisbury Fire Chief, said in a message to The Times.
The West Tisbury Fire Department has two full-time officers — the chief and a fire prevention officer.
