Yandal Resources (ASX: YRL) is already preparing for the next stage of drilling after confirming the new Arrakis gold discovery at its Ironstone Well-Barwidgee gold project in Western Australia. Assay results from the first two holes in the drilling program Yandal began earlier this month have identified significant primary higher-grade mineralisation within fresh rock. Defined Arrakis StructureThe now complete reverse circulation (RC) program drilled seven holes for a total of 1,374m, targeting mineralisation Yandal intercepted with recent air-core drilling to define the mineralised Arrakis structure. Yandal anticipates receipt of results from the remaining five RC holes over the coming weeks. Next Round of DrillingIn preparation for its next round of drilling, Yandal recently completed a heritage survey clearing 200m spaced lines across the Arrakis prospect.
