Comic Strips New Funnies This Week and Some Oldies Skip to commentsIt’s pretty well established that Randy Milholland has studied Popeye‘s comic strip history. A reminder:Liniers (Ricardo Siri) won two Silver Reubens Friday night – one of them for his Macanudo comic strip. As far as I can determine yesterday’s strip was the fourth new MUTTS comic this year, and the second new one in ten days! Very likely it is a follow-up, 20 years later, to the Lenny strips of the week of May 1, 2006. I’m still trying to figure out why GoComics re-arranged that Sunday Pearls Before Swine of July 26, 2026.
