A campaign beyond financial contributionsThe campaign was launched on August 1 without any specific fundraising target. When the campaign crossed Rs 4 lakh, Mero said his first reaction was to thank God. It also showed him the power of social media when used for a meaningful purpose. With the funds raised through the campaign, the family plans to take Bendangla to Guwahati on August 11 for treatment and medical follow-up.
