The Labor Party has downplayed concerns it is struggling after its primary vote fell to its lowest level since Julia Gillard was prime minister in 2013. The latest polls revealed a 29 per cent primary vote for the Labor Party. That is a significant decline for the party, which recorded a primary vote as high as 37 per cent primary vote before the Bondi Beach terror attack in December of 2025.
