To SAVE America — or not?

In a world that increasingly despises excellence and mocks morality, it is not surprising that the U.S. Senate can't even find the votes to pass the SAVE America Act. AdvertisementThere is a simple reason for that: not enough of them want to save America. And so, it is likely America will not be saved, more likely that it will be subverted from within. So, if dispensing with the filibuster, the “nuclear option,” is a necessary precursor to passing the SAVE America Act, then that is what must be done. AdvertisementAnd that would, unquestionably, be the “right thing to do” now, given the alternative.
