The Detroit Lions might be looking to add another heavy-hitter to their cornerback room as they hosted former All-Pro Trevon Diggs for a tryout on Sunday, according to the NFL’s transaction wire. The 27-year-old has remained a free agent since an underwhelming two-game stint with the Green Bay Packers last season. But since his ACL tear, Diggs has missed 29 regular-season games across three seasons and was released by the Cowboys in December. However, that help will rely on Diggs returning to form after a few years of very inconsistent play. Detroit signed Ogbongbemiga off the tryout, but it seems unlikely the Lions will go for either quarterback as they are reportedly signing Josh Dobbs to replace backup Teddy Bridgewater.
