In his trade deadline winner and loser article for ESPN, Schoenfield listed the Red Sox in the loser category. Schoenfield is obviously caught up on the packages the Red Sox gave up. It was something Red Sox fans had been clamoring for, and something that Red Sox and National analysts are applauding. Calling the Red Sox losers because they traded some top prospects who weren’t going to factor in this season is a thoughtless take.
