Urlaub means vacation.
Reif means ripe.
Then it asked a question I've found myself returning to again and again: "What if I am ripe for relief?"
If the answer is that I've become ripe for relief, ripe for silence, ripe for wandering, or simply ripe for an afternoon that belongs to no one, then maybe the most human thing I can do is trust that ripeness isn't something to resist.
