"The expectation that single-income earners subsidize everybody else's healthcare, taxes, gym memberships, you name it. Why should I pay more taxes just because I haven't met my person? All of the housing and initiatives are focused on families, which is important, but people who are trying to get by on a single income should also be considered." Why should I have to pay more per person for a gym membership than a family does? But the majority of single income earners are women, who already make less than men, so why should we care?
