Safeguard Constitution, democracy with Quit India spirit: TPCC chief

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President B Mahesh Kumar Goud called upon Congress cadres to work with renewed dedication to safeguard the Constitution, democracy, secularism and social justice, drawing inspiration from the Quit India Movement.
Recalling the historic “Do or Die” call given by Mahatma Gandhi on August 8, 1942, the TPCC chief said the Quit India Movement marked a decisive phase in India's freedom struggle.
The TPCC chief emphasised the need to educate youth about the freedom movement and constitutional values.

Today, with that same spirit, Congress ranks must move forward unitedly to safeguard the Constitution, strengthen democracy and protect the rights of the people.
