Nellore: Asserting that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) will continue its agitation until the government orders a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged Mega DSC 2025 recruitment irregularities, party MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy demanded that Education Minister Nara Lokesh immediately step down from office to ensure a transparent investigation. He added that if Lokesh receives a clean chit following the probe, the party would have no objection to his reinstatement as Education Minister. Highlighting specific instances, Chandrasekhar Reddy alleged that SCERT outsourcing operator Purama Naveen played a central role in question paper leaks by circulating exam materials to coaching centres. Regarding sports quota appointments, the MLC alleged widespread discrepancies, including mismatched achievement certificates, missing signatures, and subsequent online tampering after the issues were exposed. Questioning why the government fears a central probe if it acted with complete integrity, Chandrasekhar Reddy announced that YSRCP will aggressively raise the DSC recruitment scam in the upcoming Legislative Council sessions to mount pressure on the state administration.
