Guntur: Ear,nose and throat (ENT) problems, particularly those commonly affecting children, should not be ignored, as early medical consultation can help ensure timely diagnosis and effective treatment, said ENT specialist Dr Ch Neelima. Dr Neelima said people often tend to overlook ENT-related symptoms, which could lead to complications if left untreated. She stressed the importance of seeking medical advice at an early stage, especially in the case of children. She also said many elderly people suffering from hearing difficulties tend to develop feelings of inferiority and withdraw from social interactions. SHO founder Dr T Seva Kumar, SHO manager P. Nirmala Rani and implantologist Dr. Challa Chaitanya were among those who participated in the programme.
