Speaking to the media in Rajamahendravaram, the SP said the case was being investigated impartially as per the directions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The SP said Rajamahendravaram police were in regular touch with Priyanka’s father regarding her health condition. According to the SP, the two accused allegedly attacked mall security personnel and drove away recklessly while trying to escape. Priyanka suffered severe injuries after the scooter was hit three times in succession, he said. The police will file a petition in the court on Monday seeking custody of the accused for further investigation, Narasimha Kishore said.
