He expressed his condolences to Priyanka’s family and said the loss was particularly painful as she was pursuing a career in medicine. The SP informed the Chief Minister that the accused had already been arrested and remanded in judicial custody. The Chief Minister directed the authorities to provide Rs 20 lakh financial assistance to Priyanka’s bereaved family. The Chief Minister instructed officials to closely monitor the investigation and ensure that justice was delivered to the family at the earliest.
