Nellore: The Orthopedics Department of Medicover Hospital, Nellore, organized a “Healthy Bones & Joints Walkathon” on Sunday to mark Indian Bone & Joint Week (August 4–10). The walk stretched from Children’s Park to the hospital’s bypass road campus. Senior Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon Dr MV Sudhakar stressed that daily walking is vital for maintaining joint health and building a healthy nation. Center Head Pavan highlighted the hospital’s advanced facilities for complex trauma, joint replacements, and spine surgery. Hospital staff, doctors, members of the Walkers’ Association, and the general public enthusiastically participated in the awareness drive.
