Tirupati: Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) chairman A Ravi Naidu accused YSRCP leaders of politicising the Mega DSC recruitment issue, questioning their silence when unemployed candidates had earlier staged protests and faced cases. He said student and youth organisations in Tirupati had held various programmes and protests for 18 days seeking the DSC, but YSRCP leaders had not extended their support at the time. Why were YSRCP leaders creating an issue when teachers themselves had said the process was conducted properly, he asked. The SAAP chairman also rejected allegations regarding the sports quota in the DSC recruitment. If irregularities had occurred anywhere in the recruitment process, complaints should be submitted with supporting evidence.
