Anantapur: Twenty passengers were severely injured after a speeding private travels bus hit a van from behind and overturned into a culvert near Pogaruru in Pamidi Mandal early Sunday morning. The severe impact mangled the front of the bus, leaving the driver in critical condition. Most passengers were sleeping when the crash occurred, causing severe panic. Pamidi police rushed to the scene, rescued the trapped passengers, and shifted them to Anantapur Government General Hospital for emergency treatment. Police suspect over-speeding caused the crash, and a case has been registered for further investigation.
