The inaugural Ride Before You Buy show, organised by the MG Car Club and its Abingdon Works Centre, will take place at Abingdon Cricket Club on Sunday, October 4, running from 10am to 4pm. Lorraine Noble-Thompson, chairman of the MG Car Club, said: "Ride Before You Buy is about sharing our passion for MGs with everyone. In addition to passenger rides, the event will include MG displays, club exhibitions, merchandise, craft stalls, and food and drink options including pizzas and barbecue fare. Passenger rides and other voluntary donations will raise funds for the Abingdon Food Bank, supporting the community while offering a memorable experience for car fans. Angie Wright, chairman of the MG Car Club Abingdon Works Centre, said: "There could be no more fitting location than Abingdon, where so much of the MG story began.
