Termination of their TPS status means loss of legal protection and potential deportation to horrendous conditions in Haiti including violent crime, risk of kidnapping, armed gang control, extreme poverty, and political instability.
ADVERTISEMENTHaitian TPS holders, and TPS holders from other countries, are vital members of American communities, serving in essential roles in healthcare, construction, food service, elder care, and other important areas of community life.
Hoeven and Cramer to support Senate Bill 4814 which would extend Temporary Protected Status for Haitians into early 2029.
