Share A A ADozens of drivers have been stranded along the Princes Highway after multiple potholes damaged car tyres during a heavy deluge of rain and wild weather across Victoria.
Joe Armao In the state’s east, nearly two dozen drivers were stranded after multiple potholes damaged car tyres along the Princes Highway near the rural town of Bunyip in Gippsland.
Some drivers were forced to change their tyres and one suffered an alloy rim being split in half.
Transport Victoria spokesman Andrew Crook said the highway remained open in both directions, but advised drivers should allow more travel time due to heavy congestion.
