The Mets prospect has continued his tear in Double-A since joining the Mets organization, hitting his fifth home run in seven games in the Rumble Ponies’ 4-3 win over the Hartford Yard Goats on Sunday. His three-run blast on Sunday came in the sixth inning and broke a 1-1 tie that put the Rumble Ponies up 4-1 at the time. He also has 13 RBIs for the Rumble Ponies. Bill Amick hits a three-run home run for the Mets’ Double-A Binghamton on Sunday. The Rumble Ponies have won seven games in a row and will be off Monday before they start a six-game series with Portland.
