The Denver Broncos appear to have another option at kicker for the regular season if something happens to Wil Lutz during a game. Before joining head coach Sean Payton in Denver, Lutz played with the New Orleans Saints from 2016 to 2022. Per the Associated Press, Jones made three of his four field goal attempts on Saturday, including two consecutive attempts from 35 yards. Jones didn't attempt a field goal in high school or college, but has experience playing soccer. Jones felt some jitters when the crowd at practice started chanting his name before attempting a field goal.
