A British Christian has been refused car insurance cover — just because he has “Jesus Loves You” stickers on the vehicle. Mr. Chandra replied and explained that the stickers were not for business use, but were simply intended “to spread a positive message that Jesus loves you.” His emails seeking clarification have gone unanswered and his story brings into question whether Christian stickers are banned by insurance companies, but not other messages and causes. Insurance companies have previously invalidated non-religious stickers, especially of football clubs, but were unable to explain why they impacted their cover. CHRISTIAN CAR OWNER’S REACTION TO INSURER’S DEMANDSSimeon Chandra said: “I was shocked, surprised and upset when they told me I had to take the stickers off.”
