Local news, sports, weather presented by the WDIO News TeamThe 5th annual Bloody Bash at Skyline Social & Games in Hermantown brought together over 500 people to raise money for ALS research and support.
The event featured a friendly Bloody Mary competition with 18 local businesses, including The Boat Club, The Social House and McKenzie’s Bar and Grill, competing for the best tasting and looking bloody mary and craft beer chaser.
This year, McKenzie’s Bar and Grill won Best Tasting Bloody Mary, The Rendezvous won Best Presented Bloody Mary, and Third Street Brewhouse won Best Beer Snit.
“We’re able to raise $25,000 directly for the cause every year over just drinking bloody mary’s so it doesn’t get much better than that,” said President of Skyline Social, Corey Kolquist.
Lisa Erikson with Never Surrender said all proceeds stay in the Northland and Minneapolis for patient resources and research.
