(ABC 6 News) — Tuesday, August 11 is primary Election Day in Minnesota. Voters will make their choices on which candidates they want to see on their party’s ballot in the general election November 3 – an election which results’ could flip the majority of Congress. 2026 is the first year in-person early voting is an option in Olmsted County. Before you vote, you will need to register. It is too late to register online before the primary election, but you can register in person at your polling place, as long as you bring proof of your Minnesota residency, such as a drivers’ license.
