ST. CLAIR COUNTY– Authorities have identified Jody Stephen Landrum, 55, of Jemison, as the victim of a Saturday drowning on Logan Martin Lake. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded near Coosa Island on Saturday, Aug. 8. ABC 33/40 reported that the St. Clair County Coroner’s Office identified Landrum on Sunday. The coroner’s office said he was visiting relatives in the area when the drowning occurred. Two Other Lake Fatalities Reported This SummerSaturday’s drowning follows two other fatal incidents on Logan Martin Lake this summer.
