The Fulton County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Fairview. The crash was reported around 2:45 p.m. on Illinois Route 97, just north of the intersection of North East Street and West Carter Street. Brown was traveling northbound on Route 97 at the time of the crash. Toxicology testing is pending, per Illinois state statute. The coroner’s office and Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate.
