The Metula Poetry Festival will once again take place in Jerusalem, from August 25 to 27, 2026, with the hope of peaceful days and of returning to its home in the Galilee. Effie Benaya, CEO of Confederation House and Director of the Festival, said:“I regard our success in holding Israel’s most important poetry festival again this year as a special achievement. A special event will honor the Metula Poetry Festival and the communities of northern Israel, addressing memory of place, war, and poetry’s power to connect people.
